The only Dunkin' of the more than 11,000 that actually makes do-nuts in house is in Boston - so a chance to try something unique.

Great info Scott. Thanks. Being from So Cal we don't have trains.  We love our cars.   It will take getting used to

? Metrolink covers the entire area, extensively. I take it you've never been to the Santa Fe Springs/Norwalk station, or any others?

Sure, I get it..We do not miss that traffic....but you mentioned NO trains. I have attended many events all over SoCal via metrolink. Sure beats drunk driving.

I'll be at the convention center, Seaport District, Apr 8-10 or so, where around there should I try. Limited to walking distance.

If your there on a Wednesday or a friday my food truck should be very close, if your interested shoot me a PM before you leave so I can let you know where we will be.

You have quite a lot of good restaurants there as well as our best breweries without having to leave the seaport. The beer at Trillium is incredible and I hear they are making pizza now, also lord hobo is awesome.  For food you have Menton, Legal Seafoods, Ocean Prime, Chickadee, row 34 (lobster roll!), Mortons Steak house, and my favorite BBQ in New England at the Smoke Shack.  Also, Pastoral has solid Neapolitan.

A walk to the north end is not bad from the seaport on a nice day so I would hit Reginia. Locale is awesome too if you prefer a faster wood burning pizza.   There are a lot of choices there for great Italian restaurants there as well.  Neptune oyster is there with lobster rolls featured on the show best thing I ever ate.

Been years since I've been to Boston, but there's a bakery, looks like it has more locations now, named Flour. Killer sticky buns. I've seen them on TV a few times. I think they beat Bobby Flay.

Good call, there is a Flour Bakery there at the end of the seaport by the Smoke shack and Pastoral.

Wife and sister want italian for dinner. Sister made reservations at Bertucci's. Pizza or pasta???  Guess I'll decide when I get there

I'd rather do a small family owed restaurant.  Looks like bertuccis is a chain. Either way I hope it's good

It's close to the hotel and we are all exhausted. 6 hours walking around Salem looking for witches. We'll still have 6 more dinners to do

I live in Salem, welcome!

Pizza at Bambolina is usually solid.  If you do head north up near Gloucester, Short and Main is very good.  Not pizza, but Settler here in Salem is really nice (self-described as “New American”).  A&J King bakery has great bread, sandwiches, pastry/treats, and good coffee.  Lastly, Melt is a good local ice cream shop that just opened back up for the season.  Enjoy!

We did the fenway tour, very good, then headed to harvard

Went to Scott's for lunch before our tour. Got a plain cheese, my sisters favorite, and  a porky plus some wings.   The restaurant was very impressive. The decor, music, and especially the food. It was all great. Only thing missing was Scott.  Great lunch then we walked to the Harvard tour meeting spot.  Hit up Mike's cannolis for tonight's dessert. So far a great day
