Ankarsrum mixer will it make good pizza dough?

Looking at getting a new mixer, our Kitchen Aid 5qt just isn't cutting it.  Is the Ankarsum worth buying?  The Ankarsrum is a different design from the KA and I know it gets pretty good reviews from some bread makers.  Just wondering if anyone has experience with it. Im trying to find the best mixer under 800$ that will make great dough but will still make the wife happy so she can still make cakes, brownies and cookies...

I used one for a few years,
requires you add liquid to bowl first and then add flour bit by bit after.
you just have to be careful to not add too much flour at a time or the dough will skate around as the bowl spins.

It certainly fits the capacity above a kitchen aid

The Ank is very heavy duty, will do a great job on dough for bread and pizza.  For cakes and brownies,  it should be fine.  It will even do a good job whipping cream with the bowl with beaters.

I bought a second hand Famag 8s spiral, a big step up in price and capacity but for my avg batch mix of 3.5kg it is great.

The Ank is quite a capable machine, my only peeve was having to add the flour bit by bit.

I was told the dough hook works better than the roller for larger quantities of dough
but I never used it.
