No oil on the pan.

Here is the second one from last night and a crumb shot.

I have a fresnel lens that's a bit larger than a square meter...

That is a hoot.  Like some here, I've used the searzall to "touch up" an indoor conventional oven pie.  Never considered using it as one of two primary heat sources.

Playing with a new oven. Can anyone guess which one?

Trick question. This isn't an oven. And it's not new.  ;D

But very nice job!

Thank you. Why isn't it an oven? Because it's not locally enclosed?

Where else have you seen a torch used simultaneously with a skillet on the stove?

Oven is a chamber. Not new in that the pan and Searzall were things I assume you already owned. So not a new oven on both counts. So this is a new method using old equipment that does not involve an oven. But great idea. I do something similar with open-faced, grilled sandwiches.

Craig, how many ovens do you have?  Acunto, PP, Ardore, Searzall, GWG, any others?

I think that's all of them. The only other was a BS that I sold. I guess the BBQ too, but haven't used it for pizza in years.

How's the young guy doing who bought your BS ? Didn't he instantly  start catering with it?

Last time I tried myself a hand-gas-fired system, but after 30 sec there weren't anymore oxygen in the kitchen so I stopped  ;D
I tried on a pizza, but not long enough to get some relevant result.

I think that was his goal, but I don't know if he did.

Craig, I thought of your "new oven" while watching this "pizza" video.  :D My immediate reaction was a hard pass, but maybe with different flavors, this could be a nice quick meal in my Breville or your new oven. Not pizza, but has possibilities.
