Does anyone have any experience with these? If so what are your thoughts?

It's my goto for a while, I think it's excellent and not very expensive.

I've definitely been thinking trying Mutti since a supermarket around me carries it.

It's funny a pizza place I go to just recently put on a their menu that they proudly use Mutti tomatoes. No wonder they make good sauce!

Add 2-3 grams of salt and a basil leaf and you're good to go!
Things have never been more like today than they are right now.

The second to last time I made pizzas I tried those next to their san marzanos, both were good for my tastes, the san marzanos were a bit brighter tasting, those were a touch more earthy. Will buy again

How much are you guys paying for these tomatoes and where are you getting them from? (and what size cans?)

Because I find them to be expensive.  A small can of Mutti (smaller than the 28-oz cans) is almost the same price as a 28-oz can of other tomatoes.  That's why I'm intrigued by the posters above who say that the price is reasonable.

I used to buy Mutti San Marzano before, IIRC they were just above 3E per 400g can.  A couple of years ago there was a new vintage that was horrible, so I went looking for something new.  I found the Mutti Pelati and thought they were just as good as the S.M., so since then I've been buying Mutti Pelati.

Last time I paid about 1.90E a can from Amazon (including transport).  Sure not the cheapest but I haven't been disappointed yet by them.  They have kept the quality high for a couple of years.

Mutti SM £2
peeled whole £1.20
Pizza sauce £1.20
Polpa 90p

roughly per 400g can, which is typically along the higher priced tomatoes you get here, the cheaper brands are about half the price but while they can be decent they are a lot more variable imo

You have to go up to the 2.5kg wholesale sized cans to start getting better value here unfortunately, but then you get access to lots more brands
