Title: Authentic Italian Pizza by Tommaso Sorrentino -- Has anyone read?
Post by: levity03 on September 02, 2020, 11:39:35 AM
Looking into diving into a book that'll delve into the methods, ingredients, etc. for pizza making at home with WFO. I've heard good and bad things about the Pizza Bible and this one looks interesting. Has anyone read it?

I have read it and it is not bad in terms of ease of following instructions. It is a bit one note though. The Pizza Bible is a better overall instructional book for multiple pizza styles. Ken Forkish’s book is also very valuable and easy to follow. It helped me make and maintain my first successful strong starter and a successful Neopolitan with natural yeast. After reading 5 or six books and thinking I understood pizza making, all I understood was how to make a base dough to begin experimenting with all of the massive additional info on this Forum.
