Title: A couple different NY Style efforts from the weekend
Post by: Yeasty Boy on October 05, 2021, 01:05:00 PM
First was a potato pie. A base of a little fresh mozz and drained ricotta. Yukon Golds with salt, pepper, fresh rosemary and EVOO. Mix of gruyere, smoked gouda and white cheddar on top. Then crumbled some polish sausage on top. Turned out good!

Second one was a chicken parm. Usually I pound-out a breast and bread it...but I went the easy way due to time constraints, and used chicken nuggets. Fresh mozz, ricotta, spinach (only on a small section to appease the spinach-adverse at the party) and finished with fresh basil. Not the most photogenic pie I ever made, but what can you do...  ;D

Sourdough ferment with KAABF.

I'm German and Polish, so potatoes + dough + meat is a combination I would never refuse - looks delicious!
