My neighbor got a smoker over the holidays and we've been talking about a pizza collaboration. Looks like this is the month to do it!

I've made a pulled pork DS that was a big hit. I think I'll make one this month!

A pulled pork pizza is what we were talking about. We're doing some pastrami research too. It's quite the dead end I live on now with regular across the street pizza and BBQ deliveries.

2oz smoked gouda mixed with 6oz mozz. does that count?? Additional toppings were pepperoni, onion, green pepper, green olive, cherry peppers and jalapeno.

Smoked cheese - excellent idea. I’m not a big fan but like the creativeness of it for this challenge.

Neighbor got a smoker over the holidays. This is a Detroit style (post 115) with a blend of mozzarella, Muenster, and Colby jack and topped with some burnt ends he made and jalapeno. Slight drizzle of bbq sauce and optional pickled onions. This was tasty.

We've got a plan for some pulled pork next weekend.

First, I wore something green, then I smoked something green. Then I took this leftover doughball and baked something green. Then I drizzled on some green oil made from the green stuff I smoke and devoured the whole thing. I was so hungry!

Does that count?

Sad? No way. It's refreshing.
Basil, garlic & onion with whacky tabbacky oil drizzle. I forgot to blow smoke on the pie, so maybe it doesn't count.

So I cured, seasoned and smoked Canadian Bacon. Hand smoked some whole mozzarella in mesquite and dropped it all on a pie..fired on the Blackstone...the mesquite smoke really came through...yes that is pastrami next to

This weekend, my neighbor made pulled pork. Had the oven fired up and made a similar pizza to the burnt ends but on more of a Lehmann dough than a Detroit. It was good.

Hi y'all, this is my first time posting anything on the pizza forum.

I made a white Hawaiian pizza with smoked gruyére that I would like to share for this month's pizza challenge. My brother usually makes a little video every time I make a pie, so I started uploading some of them to YouTube. For some reason, he is impressed that the pie fits in the box; and I work on my David Letterman impression "…ladies and gentlemen…"

Welcome and nicely done! One thing you might want to consider for your pies is to let them cool on a cooling rack, just for a minute or two before putting in the box. It will do a little bit to help save that crispy crust you worked so hard to achieve.
