Thanks, Bruce. It was the best one I've ever made. German Butterball potatoes from my garden. Homemade bacon.

Very unconventional but, I like it!
It only goes to prove, you don't have to be Jewish to love them! Tonight's dinner was dry rubbed and high heat seared pork loin on the last bagel and the last bialy. Yes, bread fans, that can mean only one thing, we are ready to rock and roll with another bake tomorrow! What shall I bake? Something new? Something tried and true? Revisit something neglected for so long?

If you’re taking requests either a soft rye or a killer sub role for ambitious coldcuts, cheeses, onions, red wine vinegar, plus optional veg and other condiments.

Nice! I was not even thinking along this line! I have some rye flour that needs to be used, and The Rose levy Berenbaum formula for NY rye. that needs dusting off! Old youtube video of the bread in question. (After I actually watched the video,) I realized this is my riff on the formula. The Tangzhunz is my contribution.

There are some good ideas in your video! Royal Jelly? That went by quickly. I take it that is measured imperially?  ;D

I picked up the royal jelly from the farmers' market. It is honey from a different part of the hive (I assume the queen's quarters?) Even healthier than normal honey. You guys kill me!  :-D :-D :-D :-D
