Domino's Closes All of its Store in Italy

It appears that Domino's had a difficult time competing with Italians in the pizza realm.

Shocker!    I would love to read the meeting minutes where it was decided that opening 29 stores in Italy was a good idea. Never mind the pizza itself, it would seem the culture could not be further from accepting any part of the idea.

Whoever thought that was a good idea now has to look at themselves in the mirror every day, which is probably ok if they’re a narcissist. My experience in the corporate business world has revealed plenty of them, making crappy decisions, and being paid handsomely along the way.

My guess is that it was destined to be a loss for some kind of investment or tax reason.

On the other hand, the last time I was in NYC, I was surprised how many Dominoes and Papa Johns there were. Would think there are plenty of other better options near each location.
