  • Looking for places to eat in Verona I was surprised to find that Da Michele has a branch here too! We went, of course.

The only other Da Michele experience I have is from the original in Naples. What first struck me when entering the restaurant was the ambience. It's much more "upscale" here. The location in Verona has fresh interior, nice tables, metal utensils and glass glasses. Not plastic knives and cups in other words. But ok, I can live with a little bling bling.

The pizza was excellent. We had margherita and marinara and while not tasting exactly like in Naples (if my flavor memory serves me right) they were delicious and very well crafted. They were also just as huge as I remember them.

The menu was also different with more variation. Also, the prices were notably higher than in Naples.

I would recommend this to anybody in the area.
