Pizzeria Bianco is getting some national attention.
This week's issue of Newsweek and newspapers around the country are revealing the details of food critic Ed Levine's "Pizza: A Slice of Heaven," which lists the top pizza places in the nation.
The 359-page book details where the best pizza pie can be found, and according to Levine it's right here in Phoenix, at Pizzeria Bianco, 623 E. Adams Street.
In researching for the book over the last year, Levine says he has eaten about 1,000 slices of pizza at pizza joints across the United States.
Pizzeria Bianco owner Chris Bianco was named best chef in the southwest region by the James Beard Foundation in 2003.

I am going to phoenix for a meeting next month and will definitely go there to check it out especially after reading American Pie. I will let everyone know how it is when I get back.
