14x14 Grandma pizza recipe? I can't find one!
« on: September 15, 2021, 11:54:46 AM »
Hey guys,

I recently picked up a 14x14 Sicilian style pan. I'm hosting a pizza party on Friday and I wanted to make a Grandma-style pizza with this pan.

The problem is, every recipe I encounter is using a 18x13 or so pan! I'd love to have a pan of that size, but my little home oven will not accommodate it.

I'm aiming to create a thin, dense-like Grandma pie with this pan. I know I can look at recipes and scale 'em back, but I'm poor at math and don't know where to begin.

Any recipes or suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it!

I would think you could  take the recipe for the 13 x 18 (234 sq in.) and convert it to a 14 x 14 (196 sq in.) which is about 83.7% of the 13 x 18.
Multiplying each of the ingredients by .837 should give you the amount of each ingredient  for a 14 x 14.
