Until tonight, I haven’t made bread or pizza in 2 months. This is my first attempt at a South Shore Bar Pie. This cast iron pan is the closest thing I have to what is normally used. My wife and I both loved it. When she told me so I said “Good, there is another dough in the fridge ready to go sometime soon.” I think this is the best I have ever done first time trying a new style. Thanks to Hans and several other people who have posted here.

Not South Shore, but made in the Lloyd Bar Pizza pan. I liked being able to slide the pizza straight onto the stone to crisp the bottom. First time using it, no sticking at all.

looks goooooood!  I have to start making these ASAP.  Would the stretch/fold/rest/repeat 3-4 times technique I use to make Neo dough work here?

IMO Lloyds took off WAY too much of the pan edge.

A Toddzilla dough recipe. Crushed tomatoes based sauce and 2/3 sharp cheddar and 1/3 WMM. Topped with linguica and onion and a sprinkle of oregano. Was a hit!

Todzilla recipe, fantastic result. Did not have corn oil so subbed canola--the only variation from his generous share. Dry aged salami, cooked in a 9.5" Pizza Hut pie pan (with the dimpled holes) @500F 12mins in various positions in oven with a bottom steel and top stone.

HansB Are you still using the Adam Kuban formulation you began the thread with? I have not seen it so don't know how it varies from others, like Todd-Zilla Mead's.

First of 2022, inspired by HansB's last of 2021 with some added homemade sausage. It was great but still a lot to learn. I added extra cheese and sauce and it was overkill. Todd-Zilla dough recipe. Great start to a new year!
