Here's a spot that mostly flies under the foodie radar but has a cult following. Opened in 1947, thin crust pizza with some semolina on the bottom, incredible sauce, great bake, just a fantastic old school pizzeria. verplanck is the town that time forgot in westchester and the inside of the restaurant looks like something from a bygone era. Fantastic, friendly service, we've seen chefs up from nyc, broadway actors and politicians dining here but it's all low-key and everyone is so happy to eat pizza in this secret little restaurant.
