Is this in the airport? If so, I believe John just licenses the name with little involvement (like most of these airport and stadium restaurants are.) They typically have one big company (like Aramark) running the whole show.

Ellis Island, behind the MGM? I know that family, or did a long time ago. My Dad went to high school with Frank Ellis, who passed away several years ago, in Clarksburg, WV. His son Gary has taken that from a pub with a few slot machines to what it is today.

Yes, Koval Ln is what I remember. I may have MGM confused. Whichever one it was had a horrific fire about 30 years ago. I happened to be out there for a week beginning the day after and spent a lot of time at what was then The Pub.
