  • Is this in the airport? If so, I believe John just licenses the name with little involvement (like most of these airport and stadium restaurants are.) They typically have one big company (like Aramark) running the whole show.

    I was told this variation is baked on screens?

    Those slices Hans posted donít strike me as a John Arena slice. His look a tad different

  • These were at the Metro Pizza Ellis Island Casino, owned by John Arena according to the employees. Screen baked, served on styrofoam plates.

    Ellis Island, behind the MGM? I know that family, or did a long time ago. My Dad went to high school with Frank Ellis, who passed away several years ago, in Clarksburg, WV. His son Gary has taken that from a pub with a few slot machines to what it is today.

    Yes, Koval Ln is what I remember. I may have MGM confused. Whichever one it was had a horrific fire about 30 years ago. I happened to be out there for a week beginning the day after and spent a lot of time at what was then The Pub.
