Just asking if someone has tried this stove.  I only see 1 review of guys comparing to Ooni Fyra.  It was interesting because of the insulated door.

Thanks,
Engt

Engt,  I have never seen one, but there are a number of reviews on Amazon that don't look fake to me.  The main complaints appear to be build quality, metal edges are razor sharp, holes don't line up to allow screws to be used, some complaints about missing parts.   Many of the reviews did add that once you got the pellets going , it cooked a good pie.  My guess is that it certainly won't have the quality of the Ooni Frya, and you won't easily be able to convert to gas, but if you want to cook at a higher temp than your home oven,  it is one you could consider if you dont mind tinkering with it to get it set up, and playing around with the pellets to get the heat balance just right.  Another one to consider in this range is the Bertollo with the gas option, it is occassionally on sale.  It doesn't have a front door, but gas ,  IMO,  is a big upgrade in dialing in consistent heat over pellets and the cook times are so short, I don't think the door would be of very much use other than in preheat.

Thanks for the honest response. I have a pellet smoker at my place so good pellets are always around. That's why it caught my eye plus windy where I'm at.

I would read up on reviews on the early Ooni  ( Uuni ) pellet pizza ovens.  My recollection is that there were many complaints about getting the right temp. Your pellet smoker has an auger to feed the pellets, the Uuni, and the Smokin PoBoy don't,  so not sure how easy it would be to get and keep a desired temp.   Have you looked at this     I skipped through much of it,  but I much prefer an actual user who has used it a few times to videos from the manufacturer or first time users   .    I don't think the pies came out that great, and he said he likes using the pellets, though it looked like a lot of work, and even he noted some big changes in temps.   If you buy it,  try it a few times and report back.

I almost purchased one of these. I thought it a good design and particulatly liked the battery powered fan attachment.

If you give it a try, please report back.
