Dough blender mixing time
« on: February 19, 2012, 03:10:55 PM »
Hello,
I made batch of dough last night and they came out very nice using all trumps, with a dough blender. The dough mix came out good and was easy to work with. Using the paddle then the hook.I cut them in 2 , to make two balls and right away put them in the frig, in plastic containers. I was going to use olive oil but I  was on a buget , then i was thinking  about  another recipe with vegetable oil in it.
Ingredients:
Flour all trumps 2 1/2 cups
Water  1 cup
Idy 1 1/4 tsp
Salt 3/4 tsp
Vegetable Soybean oil 3/5 tsp
(mixing time 8-10 minutes)

Quick question, how long should I mix it just using 2 1/2 cups of flour with 1 cup of water. Whats the longest time- I dont want to overmix my dough. Sorry for all the questions.
Thank you
Shaun
