Cleaning Flour
« on: February 01, 2006, 03:59:15 PM »

Does anyone know an easy way to clean flour thats been caked onto a baseboard, peel, flour, wall?  The area around my mixer is getting covered with flour and before we can get a chance to clean it, it cements onto everything.  Is there something we can put on the walls (i.e. scotchguard) to help with the cleaning or is their an easier way to clean it besides elbow grease?

Cheers,

Jon_

hi, Jon,
i usually get flour everywhere and have similar issues. i found for me if i wet the area with water and then scrape it with my metal dough cutter, it all comes off nicely. i guess a metal spatula would work as well. hope this helps.
