Goog news and a question about online order platforms for pick up

Happy Easter!

I know it's a crazy time to be launching...

and I just got my health permit approved Friday for my Pizza catering side business. I had planned on an April launch since Fall. Bad timing....

It might work to my advantage as my day job is very slow but I'm still pulling full salary. I may get a short lay off over Summer, but expect to be fine long term. I've been the restaurant business for a long time and currently have a University gig that should be fine come fall.

I'm only planning for pizza to be 2-4 pop up and/or catering events per month. It's mostly of a self funded hobby that might grow into a semi-retiremnet plan in 10-15 years.

My question is about onine order/pay solutions. I've looked a serveral platforms and I'm wondering if anyone has any experiecne with them.

I'd like to be albe to have an ordering link on social media posts and web site to allow guests to order, pay, and arrrange a pick up time.

I've seen folks doing it by phone and DM without the prepay function. I'm a solo operator, fielding calls/messages is not something I'm willing to consider at this time.

Does anyone have advice on square-up, tock to-go, or other sales platfroms that can be linked to social media posts?

For what you are doing Square is probably our best bet.easy to use and lots of upgrades available as your buisness grows
