Hello,

I am in the process of deciding what conveyor oven to choose. I am leaning towards XLT ovens if just for the support availability in my area and I've heard good things to be honest. I've also heard great things about Moretti ovens however, I see only them located in Florida and not sure what kind of support (if anything were to happen). Can anyone give me their thoughts on these two ovens, the type of output you've seen and what your overall experience is?

Thank you!

I am not familiar with the moretti conveyor ovens, only their deck ovens.  I would definitely go with the xlt, however.  They are everywhere so you are going to find many more repair services that are familiar with them and most will actually have stashes of the most replaced parts on hand.  With the moretti I can almost guarantee a longer wait time to get parts which can really hurt a business like ours.  I also have had bad luck with a different Italian oven company, so I may be biased.  An Italian oven with moving parts is frightening to me.

I appreciate your feedback and it's pretty on par on what i was thinking. The nightmare I'd have if the oven would fail is just not worth it.

And it will fail.  anything with moving parts will.

Italforni (conveyor ) come to mind ...
People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered, love them anyway. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives, do good anyway. Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable, Be honest and frank anyway. If you are successful , you will win false friends and true enemies, succeed anyway.

Expect the worst, hopw for the best. The good news is their 10 year warranty and 24 hour support.  Plus with two ovens really if one goes you have sometime for a replacement.

It's like my son's soccer coach said at the banquet after they lost in state semi-finals. He said, "Do any of you know how many teams in the state do not lose their last game? Four." There were 4 divisions. It was a great point.
