Jack...

Barbecue is not to be confused with "grilling" (e.g., hamburgers).

Barbecue is cooked in a smoker under low heat for a looong time. The end result is meat that is smoky, fall-off-the-bone tender, and moist. Pork butts (barbecue sandwiches), ribs, and beef brisket are but a few of the most common types of barbecue.

Now I'm getting hungry!!  ;D

I have pulled the plug on pitcooking.com  :'(

The forum is pretty much dead and I don't have time to develop content for the site.

It's a shame, but I understand.  I would offer to take over, but I'm involved with 3 other sites myself.

Are you keeping the name just in case?

Steve, I've got a thought for you.  Almost everyone on the list is also a barbecue fanatic why not have a section that reads something like;  "Need a break from pizza"
Under that heading you could post anything food related that is not pizza.
You could post all the other food groups.
Barbecue
Mexican
Candy
Chili Dogs
Apple pis
etc.

Yeah, I have pitcooking.com and bar-b-cue.com reserved for a year.

Good idea, but I want the website to stay focused on pizza. Don't want to dilute the content!  ;)
