Reheat Detroit Slice/ Whole pie
« on: January 10, 2023, 11:26:38 AM »
We have no DSP where I live so I can’t see how it would be done. But in a restaurant or food truck that serves DSP by the slice or whole pies that are essentially reheated like NY, how do they do it? I’m experimenting Friday but I’m worried the bottom will be too crunchy and the top not quite hot enough.
Currently my oven is 450 for 24 min for an 8x10. Lloyd pan

I have never tried to reheat an entire pizza, but with slices, I will heat them daily during the week for lunch after I make a pizza for dinner. I use a toaster oven set at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. It may make the bottom crust a tad bit crunchier, but it's great.

The Air Fyer! I've only done 2 pieces max from a 10x14 pan, but it crisps us so awesome!
