I just wrote a thread in the Chicago Style forum where I wrote up my review of a Chicago style I made this weekend. As part of that endeavor, I also had to use a non-meat alternative product for sausage called "Gimme Lean". YOu can find that review here:

If you must use a non-meat alternative either as part of a dietary choice, this is not a bad product. Is real sausage better? Probably. I personally wouldn't have guessed it was fake had I not known. But even if it is not quite as good, it is better than none.
