Infused Olive Oil

I am thinking of doing some oil infusion. I wanted to make a few different kinds lemon, rosemary, chili flake. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if they had any tips, some do's/don't.

Sear I haven't made any yet but had some red pepper infused OO at a restaurant 2 days ago and it was good. The oil had an orange color to it with 2 dried whole peppers in the bottle.
