My wife got me a digital scale for Father's Day (after many hints)!
I just made some pizza dough with PFT's RAQUEL recipe as I have been doing for 3 months. The digital scale exposed the fact that I was "packing too much flour." After carefully weighng the ingredients I had a quarter cup if flour left over (that I normally would have added to the mix).
I know there are those who say they add flour by feel and look, but for those who are just beginning, we do not know how the dough should feel!
The scale was only $35. And well worth it!!
