The idea goes to Norma. (thanks V. day was a success.) I only copied because it was such a good idea.  Just getting the pic up now but it was a gift for the wife.

Also, it was an experiment between Bel Gioioso and Galbani cheese.  The cheese closest to you in the pic is Balbani and further away was Bel Gioioso.

side note on the cheese: I prefer the Bel gioioso in texture  before being melted but on a pizza the Galbani cooks up better in my opinion.

These two pies are my second submission for ďNot RoundĒ.  These are fried pizzas that the dough was fried first, then dressed and finished in the oven.  The dressings for these fried pizzas were Lesí sweet sauce, two blends of mozzarella, a little white cheddar, Capicolla, sausage, homemade ricotta, and lastly sprinkled with thyme and stick oregano from Larry.

pignolius ,

Thanks!  :) I didnít think about the pizza looking like a bommerang, but now that you mentioned it, I also think it does look like a bommerang.

I borrowed from my German background for this pizza tart. I thought maybe some folks would spot it's heritage. Speckzelten (speckplatz) was a tradition in my house growing up. I know my mom and grandmother didn't use a homemade BBQ sauce and Manchego cheese in theirs but I think they might have liked it.

Don,

Speckplaatz, or Speckzelten, are a Swabian dish but not very well-known across the rest of Germany. But they are a delight to eat. Very tasty and full of flavor.

You did an excellent job!

Craig,

I won't be hard on you and only do it one time to see how your "ninja skills" are.  :-D  The slice will be tiny about 1 1/4" x 1 1/4".  It will be a triangle.
