Just picked up a 10# bag vidallias yesterday. Last night fried up two small ones with five garlic cloves, put on a left over dough and made a white pie. Dusted with tomatoe powder and a little sea salt, opened a bottle of pinot grigio, and the wife and I sat on the deck and watched the rabbits running around! Was a great night! unfortunatley no pictures tom

I've never seen that before. What a great idea. Ever put any cheese in there with the onion?
No never tried cheese, I coat with sriracha sauce before wrapping with bacon, then top with a little of my spice rub and smoke at 275 for about an hour and a half till the bacon is crisp
