Love the party cut! Never been to Wisconsin, but some Greek pizzerias in New England use it.

It's a thing upstate, too.  I do it for (wait for it) ...  parties. :-D.  There's always way too much food, so nobody needs a big slice.

It’s toward the end of the season and I’m messin’ around.

My usual pie topped with diced Margarita pepperoni mixed with the dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds that come with salad kits. NTB!

My son came to me last minute and told me that since his AP Human Geography has taken the AP test and is basically over they have decided to have a pot luck.  Just happened to have ingredients on hand and decided to make up some emergency dough.  Hope the kids like it.

Jakew81,

Those pizzas look great. Let us know how they were received by the kids? Also, what dough formulation did you use?

Peter

Peter,
Thank you.  I heard the pizzas were very well received by the kids.  This dough was my New York/ American Hybrid that you added to the emergency dough sticky about 4 years ago.  That original post is here.

I have since swapped the bread maker for a KitchenAid , and have also been quick proofing in ziplock bags on top of an electric heating pad.  Better versions with the same formula can be seen here.

Jake,

Thank you. I have always liked the idea of a hybrid NY/American style of pizza and thought that it would make a good chain style pizza. Chain style pizza often appeals to kids.

For the record, your original recipe appears at #6 under General in the emergency dough sticky at https://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php?topic=8297.msg71576#msg71576. I plan to add a link to the sticky to refer people to your recent posts to present a fuller picture of the style you made.

Never mind, I just noticed a PM from Steve - my post had a link to my forum and Steve did not like that - guess the internet is not big enough for 2 pizza fourms :-)

Lost pies reposted :-)
