Blackstone or Kettlepizza?
« on: December 15, 2013, 02:14:18 PM »
I am new to pizza making and i am looking to get my first cooker. I have a Weber performer now and could add a kettlepizza setup to it and almost purchased it but then i found out about the blackstone pizza oven which is on sale right now ($299 at cabelas till the 18th). I would like to know which one to get for my first pizza cooker. Which will produce the better pizza? I think the blackstone would be easier to operate but i am wondering if the taste will be as good as off of he weber with the kettlepizza gizmo. Thanks

^^^ I had the kettle oven. I sold it and bought the Black Stone. The kettle works good but I had to make smaller pies to make it work good and my results weren't consistent either.

I love the Black Stone. I hope to try a 16 inch pie today and a calzone.

I have both. If it can help your decision, I never used the kettle since I bought the BS.
