A while back, pizzanapoletana (Marco) brought those tomatoes to the forum's attention, at,2007.msg17690/topicseen.html#msg17690. Subsequently, I read an article in The Rosengarten Report (March 2006), in which Rosengarten highly recommended the Piennolo vine tomatoes (by Casa Barone), which are also sold at Gustiamo. He thought that the jarred Piennolo were "without a doubt, the finest whole tomatoes in jars or cans I've ever tasted". At $16 for a 500 gram jar, I passed. The Miracle tomatoes aren't cheap either. But someone must have been buying them because the last time I checked they were out of stock.
