Do I want sticky dough for thick crust pizza?

I was doing some reading and I think i saw somewhere that if you want thick crust pizza you want a stickier dough right? You want a higher hydration rate right?

Are you talking about a higher hydration for a Sicilian dough or another type of pizza.

I believe you do want higher hydration.  Thicker crusts don't rise very well with customary hydration amounts, especially if they're cooked more slowly.

Just thick crust

I believe you do want higher hydration.  Thicker crusts don't rise very well with customary hydration amounts, especially if they're cooked more slowly.
