Ice Machine Recommendation

Any recommendations on what size ice machine for a 38-seat, high foot-traffic shop?  Sales guy is obviously recommending a 600# unit, seems like a bit much for our needs, but wanted your input.

Fountain drinks? Bar? anything else that requires ice usage?

We seat 32, have no bar, and half of our drink sales are premium bottled soft-drinks and beer, , a 200# per day machine is not enough for the drink fountain in summer. So I gotta side with your sales guy if you will have fountain drinks.

I am in the market for a 1000# machine.

Used machines;  Very touchy subject, if you go used, make sure it is from the guy that would be servicing it, not a craigslist or auction purchase. It'll save you tons of headaches.

Thank You!  Decided going to lease for $70 per month, which covers service calls.  Can zero in on what capacity I need from there.

Ouch, Thats a ton of money IMO, How long is that lease agreement, what is the buyout price, and the total price when lease is done.
About the only piece of kitchen equipment that I'd ever consider leasing is a dish machine, otherwise you may really get hosed on the deal.
