I just got a Pizza Party too. I didn't order the stand. Hubby is going to build a cart this weekend for my birthday. I hope to season my oven on Sun. I will post pictures too. I have problems with over leavening. Looking for help.

Ponzo and Tricia,

That is exciting!  Be sure to post with your experiences and perhaps we can learn from each other.  I am also building a stand for mine with big wheels so I can take it over rough terrain if necessary to bring the pizza to any location.

My delivery day may be more in line with your guy's.

Although I ordered it last week I only got my tracking number yesterday. Estimated delivery: Thursday.

I can not wait to fire it up.

Ok our cart is done!! I don't think our cart is as pretty as Adan's. We use green treated lumber. We are not "do it yourselves" but we are pretty proud!! Now we need help getting the bricks in and I am ready to season!!

That cart looks fantastic.  You look plenty handy to me!

Was the oven pretty easy to assemble?

When will you fire it up?

It comes mostly assembled. There is plastic wrap all over it and you have to put the chimney on and bricks in. I figured the bricks were difficult. They have video instructions on there web site, and a handout with instructions that came with the oven. There is a stick of wood right at the base of the door. With that in we cannot get the bricks in. There is about a half inch overlap. But with the stick out the bricks drop in easy but there are gaps where you can see the insulation. I have a post in the home pizza oven forum and messaged the Pizzaa Party people directly. They are on the forum. I'll let you know what they say.

The cart we copied from Dan the Pizzaman. Search the site for pizza party cart and his pictures come up.

Still awaiting my oven.  Tracking says it is in Memphis right now with a delivery by the 28th.  But I can't imagine it will take 13 days to make it to Maine from Tennessee!  Hopefully I'll be up and cooking by this weekend.  Need to make a base similar to yours which will keep me busy this weekend even if the oven doesn't arrive.   :chef:

the cart is 30X30X42. We cut the legs to 36. With the mitered top pieces and casters came to 40 inches high. Our local hardware store had indoor casters with rubber wheels and brakes. The outdoor/heavy duty had steal wheels but no brakes. WE will be pushing ours about 10 to 20 feet so we went with the brakes.

When my shipment hit Memphis it was here in 2 days. The 28th doesn't sound right to me. I bet they meant the 18th. Post when your baby arrives!!

I received mine today!

Super excited.

Where did you see the curing instructions?  I didn't see any in my package.

I'll build 2 250 fires tonight and in the morning and make pizza tomorrow evening!
