Domestic oven - SF vs Valoriani
« on: April 20, 2018, 07:12:02 AM »
Hi.

Im deciding on a new home outdoor oven. I own a partypizza oven at vacation house and it serving nice, now I need something bigger. Oven will be outside, must be mobile, since I plan to move out in couple of years and I want to take it with me. I plan to bake mostly NP style, 4-5 pizzas maybe once a week.

I searched around and ask for some quotes from companies that are EU based so there is no custom charge and cheaper delivery. Right now I'm deciding between Stefano Ferrara mobile clasic 90cm
and Valoriani Hobby 100cm. I understand that one is intended for professional use and one for domestic use, but i don't know  what kind of difference does it make in baking. Im also not sure with the size. Would 80-90 cm be enough or should i go for 100cm. There is quite a difference in weight between the two. SF weights around 1700 kg while Valoriani 750kg. Im not sure where difference comes from ? At least not that much.

There is also quite a big difference in price. Almost 2x in favor of Valoriani. SF is a little bit over the budget but i could probably manage. What i need is an oven that last a long time and serves it purpose. I don't mind paying more if I get better quality not just paying for the brand name.

Any help is greatly appretiated.

regards, Jaka

At the end i decided for custom made oven from local manufacturer. He used quality materials but it was still cheaper than other options...
