WFO BUILD question
« on: June 02, 2018, 10:28:32 AM »
Hi guysó
So after a long outdoor kitchen build the oven portion is complete. I went with a Belforno oven and did a brick facade. Iím pretty pleased with how it turned out and will eventually be painting the brick of the entire structure to match our house.

Iím scratching my head with what to do for the top cap of the brick and wanted to see if anyone has any ideas? It canít be seen from the floor, but I want to cap it to prevent birds nest, trash, or other things from getting behind there. I was thinking of maybe having a steel cap fabricated for it but I thought that may be overkill. Wood I suppose could be an option but would be seen at the edge where it meets the brick.

I think a metal cap would be best.
