Grande Cheese Dallas?
« on: September 04, 2018, 05:42:36 PM »
I would like to buy some Grande Cheese and it looks like I can do a cash and carry at Lisanti Food Services in Flower Mound.  That being said it looks like I would have to buy 50+ pounds.  Does anybody know of another source in the DFW Area?  Would anybody consider splitting an order with me?  Thanks, Nathan

I think Central Market carries it in Houston, IIRC. You might give one of the Dallas stores a call - but you'll pay 4X what you'd pay at Lisanti. I'd be surprised if Lisinti didn't split cases and sell 5# logs. Maybe not.

Thanks for the info!  Is there a particular grande cheese you like more for your pies?

I don't use it. I won't pay the asinine prices HEB/Central market charge for mozz.

I called Lisanti and unfortunately they donít break up cases.  If anybody in the dfw area wants to go in with me let me know.  Iím also open to any alternative places to buy the cheese.  Thanks!

Cases of shredded or diced at 6 5lb bags (30lbs} should cost around $80
Buy a case and freeze the rest,,,bite the bullet like most of us...ÖÖ.JT
