Change the Title to "Norma's not closing"

Mike,

That might be a good idea.  Never know though how long I will be open at market.

Norma,

Great turn of events, glad you are back.  Glad you are feeling well enough to return to the market stand.  At your tender age healing may be a little slower so have reasonable expectations.

Bobino414,

Thanks! Yea, at my old age no one ever knows what will happen.   :-D  Am not going to start with a bang.

I'd take a couple days off for a PA/NJ pizza crawl... if one of the days was a Tuesday.

Jon in Albany,

Thanks!  Will try to take it slow and stay well.  Nice to have forum members that care.

Been working on the aging sheds where I live. They are over 25 years old, maybe even 30 years old  Dang things are big.  Had a handyman repair aging spots, then I washed down the sheds with bleach and soap, caulked and put some wood putty some places.  The thing that scares me is getting up high on the ladder to paint.  Got one sheds painted, now am working on the other.  The second one is much higher than the first.

Careful on those ladders. I had to spend a few days on one for work recently. Felt it in my legs the rest of the week.

Jon in Albany,

Yes, know to be careful on ladders.  Just came in for a break.  I hate ladders.   :-D  Thanks for telling me you felt it in your legs for the rest of the week when you had to spend a few days on one for work recently.  You be careful on ladders too.

I avoid them whenever possible, but sometimes you just have to go up. About 20 years ago I was doing construction inspection at a factory. One of the things I had to do was write up the day's work. Once the roof work started, that meant going up and down the longest extention ladder I've ever been on. Had to be 50 or 60 feet long. Felt longer. It shook something awful. Glad that is no longer in my job description.

Jon in Albany,

That was a heck of a long extension ladder!  :o Glad you made it off that thing okay.  :D Your post reminds me of when I had the Funnel Cake Stand and the signs on the top of the roof needed painted.  I had to use an extension ladder and sure hated to get down from there.  My mom was helping me that day and I almost forgot I did loosen the lid of the paint can some.  My mom started up the extension ladder and I said don't do that, I will come down to get the paint can.  Before I could swing my one leg onto the extension ladder, my mom tried to throw the paint can up to me.  Well the lid was loose, so you can guess that the paint splattered all around on the windows and siding.  :-D I had to go back up to finally paint, but was lucky there was a hose there to clean up all of the paint.

Know you already saw these two photos of the sheds I am painting, but sure will be glad when they are done.  Have to climb up on the 6' ladder to paint the other end of the first photo shed.
