Whoa that was amazing. Only place that comes close to this quality Neapolitan that Iíve found is Motorino; I need to go back there to see how close they are though because itís been a while.

I had the person with the pony tail and he did an awesome job. I loooove char.

Highly recommend asking for the Calabrian chili oil. They gave it to us a third of the way through and it was the best chili oil Iíve ever had.

Very good.  My margherita was a 2:05 bake.  Last 20 seconds or so domed.

The place sounds really nice.  As a pizzeria owner/operator I wonder how such a small place can make it in today's NYC rents?  Walter

They charge a lot :-)

They also seemed to have a big delivery businessólots of pizzas going out the door. Not what I would expect with Neapolitan, but I guess it pays the bills!

I looked at their menu and those prices are not much considering their rent is probably 10k a month or more. Their pizzas are similarly priced to ours here in Reno.  We make a nice living being open 23 hours a week.  Maybe they or someone backing them owns the building?  I see they are open 7 days a week.  I just don't know how people can make it in NYC with small food places.   Whatever it is I hope they are making it OK.

I've had it. It was the first time having that dish. It was very, very good! Best to share a pizza and have a pasta dish too!

I went back to Motorino to compare. Motorino is still clearly one of the best around, but also clearly not as good as Song E Napule. Most noticeable thing to my friend and me was the tomato sauce: Song E Napuleís is much brighter and fresher tasting. Crust may be chewier too, but donít hold me to that.

Wow! The place looks great and just now Iím looking for places to eat in NY because Iím taking my family there in a couple of weeks.

How doable is this place with a wide and two kids (4 and 2) with a big double stroller and all the crap that goes along with that? (Diaper bags, etc). Just by the looks of the place Iím not sure we would even fit in.

No, strollers would not fit. AFAIK, in warm weather they have seating outside.

Yeah that sounds like it might not work. You could call and ask. Theyíre pretty friendly. If you go early on a Monday there would be extra room though so that could work.

I guess worst case I can take one to go or maybe even order a few pizzas to the hotel since they are available in the seamless app. It wouldnít be ideal but if itís between that or not trying them at all I would definitely order one to the hotel

Personally, I think it's doable if you go on the early side.
