A good friend sent me that article today. I told him “I know Norma!” Sent him back some of the links to Laura’s videos you posted this week.

Tony,

Good to know you were sent that article today from a good friend.  Know most of those "Women in Pizza".  They are a great group of women pizza makers.   :)

I respect and admire Norma for making a decision late in life to become a pizza maker rather looking for a nice retirement, and how she decided to come to our forum to learn how to do it. No doubt her success and her accomplishments and her recognition within the industry have drawn many people to our forum. I think she really help put the forum on the map, not only through increased membership of home pizza makers but also professionals. She deserves all the fame she has achieved. Yet she remains modest and humble. She has inspired many of us. And she has given back immensely to the forum with over 30,000 posts.

Norma is an inspiration to me.  I know the struggles she faces each week to make pizza.  It is 100 times more complicated than running a normal pizzeria and I wonder if I would last a week.  It is a testament to will power and perseverance.  When I am struggling at our shop she inspires me to know it will all work out.  Plus at her age it is proof that there are no rules for retirement and how we spend our later years.  This too is an inspiration to me - she has 10 years on me so I know I can last that long at it too :)  Walter

Peter,

Thanks so much for your kind comments.  I really needed to find this forum and learned so much from every forum member that posts regularly.  I appreciated all of your help in all of the adventures.  Never would have tried to make pizza, but as things happened in life, needed to find another source of income.  Almost gave up as you well know at the small pizza stand.

Walter,

Thank you too for all of the inspiration you have given me over the years.  At the end of the day I do really love to make pizzas.  Yes, you can last till you get to my age.  ;D
