Vito’s slices and ices, Manhattan 9th and 36th
« on: January 08, 2020, 03:01:23 PM »
Here’s someone doing something a little different with pizza, nice crust and bake on my pepperoni, not sure there wasn’t a little honey on the slice, light cheese. I didn’t try the upside down Sicilian but it looked really interesting, fresh mozz underneath, anchovy, basil and sauce on top. I was told they use caputo, oven set to 500f in a pizzamaster oven, cup and char pepperoni. It feels like pizzamaster ovens are having a transformative effect on the ny pizza scene.

this is a short walk from penn, I liked it, definitely worth trying.

I've been and like the slice a lot. Not trying to reinvent the wheel just doing it really well. Great bake.
