Thermal Ceramics Firebricks
« on: January 14, 2020, 06:12:45 PM »
Hey All,

I recently got my hands on some Thermal Ceramics IFB bricks. I think they'd work great for the walls, dome, arch of our pizza oven, but I'm concerned they are too soft for the floor. Here's some data on them http://www.morganthermalceramics.com/media/4526/ifb-structural-range-1200-1430-data-sheet-english.pdf. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Nick

I can't speak to those bricks, but many ovens and oven floors (including mine) have been built with Whitacre Greer low duty fire brick.
