So what did you make your significant other for V day?
« on: February 14, 2020, 10:03:17 PM »
My wife got me sick with the flu this week, but i still love her, so i struggled to make her V day dinner. I made her favorite surf and turf. Rack of lamb and lobster. I stepped up my game and did a imperial crab stuffed lobster tail.

We are both still sick with this damn flu. Believe me, she was more then satisfied. Btw, I am a self proclaimed chef, I wish i could say i was a professional chef, but $$$ always seems to prevent that dream from happening.

I Also made her a heart shaped red velvet chocolate chip cream cheese brownie, and a lava cake topped with ice cream. It pretty much did her in.  :chef:

Theres is very few chefs and days that i could handle my wife enjoying their food more then mine. V-day is not one of those days.

With all the talk of bourbon caramel sauce I made these brownies.

The sauce was really good, I'll make it again for sure.

We were out buying a new car.  With no time to cook, we got take-out sushi.

Filet on the Big Green Egg, Seared Scallops, Roasted Brussel Sprouts.

The scallops were still a little frozen and retained a bit to much water, otherwise, a success!

No pics.
