New York, NY pizza tour/anniversary trip
« on: July 12, 2020, 02:19:22 PM »
My wife and I planned on spending out 25th anniversary in NY this year for 10 days. Unfortunately COVID-19 decided to change our plans for us. Anyways, we're still planning on visiting as soon as this pandemic is behind us.

To plan for this trip, I did an amazing amount of reading, watching, note taking, etc, to make sure I'm picking the top and most iconic pizza stops in the NY area for our trip. With my research I narrowed it down to about 70 restaurants. Of course it would be unrealistic to be able to eat at all 70 in only 10 days. So I decided to sort the 70 restaurants from top to bottom by the ones with the most recommendations. I used all the normal food sites like, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Thrilliest, local/national food critics, YouTubers, etc...

But I'd love to hear the opinions the members here. Are there any MUST have pizza stops that didn't make my top 25 list?

Here is a link to the list...

Here is a MAP of those restaurants on the list.

Thank you in advance!

Ryan, check out this thread. I think it will help you a lot or validate what you’ve already come up with.

I was thinking this would be the thread to check out:

Ryan, I opened up your map and it overlaid pretty neatly with my own. I’d steer you to the “end of the world” thread because it might contain a few you hadn’t heard of, and has the benefit of repetition as endorsement to help you make either-or calls based on any time constraints.
