oven/fireplace combo
« on: April 04, 2020, 11:54:04 AM »
Hi there

I am wondering if there is a fireplace/pizza oven combo that can be put on a deck that makes good pizza?

I've seen a chiminea designed for pizza, but I don't know how well it works.

thanks will investigate. Also saw this https://www.buschbeck.ca/collections/the-ultimate-outdoor-fireplace-bbq-and-pizza-oven-all-in-one but they say it cooks a pizza in 4 minutes and it's not the look I want

Not that i know anything, but I don't see how their pizza oven inserts are going to provide top heat.  Maybe I'm missing something but they seem to assume that a hot stone is all that's needed. Doesn't seem right.

Exactly. I emailed them and they say it cooks a pizza in 5 minutes. I can do that in my oven
