My brother graciously gifted me Di Fara pizza via Goldbelly for my birthday. I almost wish I hadn't seen this thread but now I know what to expect. We went to the OG location together years ago when I was passing through on tour and I raved about it at the time. I will update with my experience but I'm not optimistic.

Well, my order was supposed to arrive 2 days after shipping but instead it took UPS a week. It was delivered in a cooler bag without any form of ice packs and it was 94 degrees when It got here. No food poisoning for me today.

Good God... Does it ever end with this money grabbing roach coach?
Saddest part about it is that they are probably laughing all the way to the bank about the way peeps are such suckers to "their myth".

Well, I canít really blame Di Fara the shipping issue. It was supposed to arrive in 2 days but UPS had it sitting around right down the street for a week. My brother bought this as a gift for me because we enjoyed Di Fara together years ago but I believe Goldbelly will give him a refund. Heís going to just give me the cash instead and maybe Iíll just buy more pizza making gear with it. Yeah, a new GI metal peel would be nice.

Jesus, Di Fara has been so disappointing since dom hasn't been behind the counter. My GF and I went last year to finally see what all the hype was about. We ordered a cheese pie and ate it there. Very average at best. Keep in mind Dom was not making pizza. It really is just well-done pizza with a big reputation.
