Armando’s Pizza at 1413 Rockaway Parkway (outside the train station), near Glenwood Road, serves what many say are the best Sicilian (“square”) slices!  In business since 1960, Armando's Pizza is Canarsie’s oldest surviving pizzeria & they have been owned by the D’Arpa family since 1968.  In addition, Armando’s Pizza has 2 other stores:  Armando’s Kitchen Italian restaurant at 1345 Rockaway Parkway (a little off the corner of Farragut Rd across the street from the firehouse in Canarsie) and Armando’s Pizza at 1717 Broadway (off the corner of Cooper Street outside the Chuancey Street J & Z train station in Bushwick).
Who makes better Sicilian ("squares") pizza? Some say “Nobody!”
