Trouble making dough thin like NY pizza
« on: April 06, 2021, 10:50:16 PM »
Hi my name is Todd and I grew up on Long Island and spent many days in NYC. Currently I live in Northern California and recently purchased a Kota 16 which works well. I am having trouble making a pie thin enough to resemble a true NYC pie. I am using caputo  red and blue. Any suggestions?

Welcome! What’s the trouble, is it tearing? Uneven? Just thick?

It will be easier for members to provide help if you post the recipe you are using and your procedure.

Agree with the two previous posts.  Also - keep in mind that a good portion of pizza making is practice.
I said to my little one, "come here so I can change you".
He said "change only comes from within".  :-/
