Basic Pan Pizza
« on: June 17, 2022, 10:25:46 AM »
I don't usually make pan pizza but when I do, it has always been Detroit. I just recently picked up a 12" round pan that is about 1.5" deep. I have looked though the forum and I see a lot of chain copycat recipes but I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a generic pan recipe.

"The most important element of pizza is the dough. Pizza is bread after all. Bread with toppings." -Brian Spangler

"Ultimately, pizza is a variety of condiments on top of bread. If I wanted to evolve, I figured out that I had to understand bread and first make the best bread I possibly could. Only then could my pizza evolve as well." Dan Richer

Yes, and it couldn't be any easier.  I toast the bottom on the stovetop as necessary when it comes out of the oven.
