I was in the market to find a gadget I don't really need, these are $79 everywhere else. But I  found it on a pre black friday sale on HSN for $49 with $10 off since it was my 1st order. And free shipping. I have a nice Breville one, but it's corded and a pain to use when I'm making pizzas in the backyard because I need to go get an extension cord. For $80 this is an easy no, but under $40 seems like it should come in handy for making my pizza sauce. While I know it's nowhere near as powerful or nice as my Breville. It's cordless and for pureeing a can of Mutti whole peeled tomatoes it'll be good. Do Italian people frown on using a hand blender on tomatoes?

Probably so :(

Looks like $50 here.

I've seen a sardinian man use a hand blender on tomatoes on youtube.
There are many kinds of pizza, and *Most of them can be really good.

It's $50 until you check out, maybe it was the Capital One coupon extension for Chrome that added the $10 off I dunno.  Even at $50 it's  still $30 cheaper than anywhere else.  Over the past 5 years I haven't been overly impressed with the quality of 2 of the 3 Cuisinart things I've bought. But their CS is great and the one that broke, they sent me a new one without me having to do anything.  It would seem they're not the same quality as when I was growing up. But that's most companies anymore.

I know it's a waah waah! #1STWORLDPROBLEM but I hate having to find the extension cord to plug my current immersion blender in lol. There's no outlet close to my prep area outside so I gotta run a 50 foot cord to the garage.

I also found and ordered their cordless hand mixer on QVC for the same deal, so I guess that's a 2nd overkill method I can use to turn my tomatoes into a sauce. But that won't fit directly in the can like the stick blender so I'd have to dump the tomatoes into a bowl! Yet another #1STWORLDPROBLEM ha.

I just added it to cart and went to checkout and it was still 49.99 with free shipping.
Tax should be the only thing that would be added from there.
Didn't buy it though. We have a corded one that rarely gets used.
